Hi, I’m Genessa
and I’ve been through this journey!
When I started experiencing these symptoms in my mid-thirties, my doctors thought it was stress, or an illness affecting my cycles. No one even considered that I could go through menopause so early. But, in less than six months I had gone from normal hormone levels to post-menopausal all before the age of 40, crushing my hopes of having more biological children.
I remember feeling alone, confused and filled with rage, thinking, “What is happening to my body?” I sought treatment from allopathic physicians, but nothing seemed to resonate, and I felt less and less empowered in the process.
I started searching for alternative ways to support my body during this transition, leaning heavily on yoga, meditation, acupuncture, energy healing and herbs. Slowly, I found relief from my symptoms, and my understanding of how to navigate the imbalances grew with time. My life became more balanced.
As I emerged on the other side of The Change, I realized I had to share these empowering healing tools with other folks! I don’t want you to feel the way I did—isolated and alone, ashamed of my body’s changes and confused about how to ease my symptoms.

Meet Your Guide
is an herbalist, holistic wellness coach, workshop facilitator and ceremony guide. She is the founder of The Mother Hive LLC, a healing arts and herbalism company located in Connecticut, USA. Genessa leads women to awaken their resilience and restore harmony and balance in their lives through workshops, ceremonies, healing rituals and online group coaching programs.
Her training includes over 800 hours of formal herbal education with midwife & herbalist Dr. Aviva Romm, M.D. & Chestnut School of Herbal Medicine; 200-hour Kripalu Yoga Teacher Training, 13-month RITUAL+ Priestess Apprenticeship with Sianna Sherman; and 6-month Shamanic Energy Healing Apprenticeship with Mona Moon.

The workshops are pre-recorded and posted to the program site for viewing at your convenience. The live coaching sessions are sacred healing spaces with opportunities to ask questions and share personal information. Thus, it is encouraged you attend live.
